MediLearning and DataFlow: Building the CPD/CME Infrastructure HCPs in the GCC Need

By Med iLearning - 17th Aug 2026

MediLearning has signed an MOU with DataFlow, becoming a CPD and CME course partner for HCPs on the TrueProfile.io platform. Healthcare professionals across the GCC can now access DHA-accredited CPD/CME courses on MediLearning through TrueProfile.io.

This partnership does more than add a training option. It changes how CPD/CME works for HCPs across the region.

“This is a landmark moment for CPD/CME in the region. Through our MOU with DataFlow, HCPs on TrueProfile can now complete DHA-accredited CPD/CME courses through MediLearning as a core part of their licensing process. This partnership closes the gap between learning and licensing and gives hospitals sharper visibility into workforce compliance. We’re delighted to partner with DataFlow to support the healthcare industry and make ongoing education accessible to all HCPs in the region.”

What this means for the region

Healthcare in the region is growing fast. New hospitals, new markets, and more HCPs are entering the system every year. But CPD/CME education and compliance hasn’t kept up. Some markets run digital-first systems. Others still depend on manual, paper-based processes that slow professionals down and increase risks for hospitals.

The MediLearning and DataFlow partnership closes that gap. Most regulators in the region currently allow HCPs to complete only around 30% of their CPD/CME credits online, which leaves a real access problem for professionals trying to stay licensed.

Through this MOU, MediLearning supplied 70 DHA-accredited CPD/CME courses for the TrueProfile.io marketplace, with plans to grow that to over 170 modules within six months. Since the partnership commenced, MediLearning has pushed that further, with over 90% of its module library now DHA-accredited. HCPs across the GCC can now access accredited CPD/CME as part of the TrueProfile.io journey they already use for document verification. They complete the course on MediLearning, and it’s recorded as part of their TrueProfile.io profile.

For hospitals, that means clearer visibility into workforce accreditation status. Compliance teams no longer have to chase individual HCPs for certificates or piece together records from separate systems. Accreditation status, course completions, and expiry dates sit in one place, making audits faster and reducing the risk of gaps going unnoticed until it’s too late.

For HCPs, it means an end-to-end system built around their career, not a set of disconnected tools. Course access, tracking, and certification all run in one place, simplifying CPD/CME and compliance on top of an already demanding job.

Innovation and industry progression

CPD/CME in the region has largely stayed static, built around fixed course calendars and manual certificate tracking. This partnership pushes it forward.

The integration between MediLearning and TrueProfile automates the parts of CPD/CME that used to require manual admin. Course completions, deadlines, and progress update automatically, with no chasing paperwork on either side. HCPs also get a personal CPD/CME library inside the platform, where they can store external certifications alongside MediLearning courses. Everything sits in one place, ready for audits whenever they happen.

This is a shift in how CPD/CME infrastructure gets built in the region. Instead of retrofitting old processes with new tools, MediLearning and DataFlow have built a connected system from the ground up.

“Integrating MediLearning with TrueProfile is an exciting step forward in how CPD/CME works for HCPs in the region. Our automated integration tracks everything from course completions and CPD/CME deadlines, to module progress and learning trends. HCPs also get a personal CPD/CME library built into the platform, where they can upload external certifications alongside MediLearning courses, giving them one place to store their full CPD/CME history for their entire career. When audit time comes, everything is already there. This is CPD/CME education built as a single, connected system that is simple and accessible for every HCP on TrueProfile.”

A system built around HCPs, not just compliance

CPD/CME has traditionally been treated as a box to tick, not a tool that supports the people using it. That approach misses the point. HCPs need learning that reflects their clinical work and their patients’ needs, not just a certificate to renew a licence.

MediLearning’s approach starts from that principle. Courses span over 30 clinical areas, giving HCPs relevant, accredited learning regardless of where their hospital sits on the digital maturity curve. Paired with DataFlow’s TrueProfile platform, HCPs get a CPD/CME experience built around their career, not around a compliance deadline.

“This partnership reflects DataFlow’s strategy to move beyond verification and become the platform HCPs rely on for their entire compliance lifecycle, not just the point-in-time check. Solving the CPD/CME access gap is a clear example of that. It’s a real need for the region’s workforce, and closing it strengthens the value TrueProfile delivers to both HCPs and the healthcare employers who depend on a compliant, licensed workforce.”

What’s next

The TrueProfile.io marketplace will grow from 70 to over 170 accredited courses within six months. As more HCPs and hospitals come on board across the region, the goal stays the same: to build accessible CPD/CME education that’s directly linked to real skills gaps, patient outcomes, and the pressures each practitioner, hospital, and market faces.
